First of all, welcome to the world of stains and babies! From now on, you'll be an expert on stains you didn't even know were possible to remove.
Before getting into the tricks we use at Bubuclean to clean baby seats or co-sleeping cribs, we need to keep a few things in mind:
- The time of the stain
- The type of stain
- The type of fabric of the stain
The longer a stain remains on the fabric, the more difficult it will be to remove, as it becomes embedded in the fibers and is difficult to remove. Depending on the stain and the fabric, the difficulty of removing it will increase.
The best Bubu Clean tricks
Below we'll look at 5 tricks to prevent the stain from becoming a permanent memory.
-
Remove the stain as soon as possible
Wet wipes are the way to go! As we've said, the longer the stain is on the fabric, the harder it will be to remove. The first thing we should do is get as much of the stain out as possible with a wet wipe.
-
Oil stains
Oh no! Oil has spilled on the stroller fabric! Don't panic. To remove oil stains, it's important to have cornstarch, talcum powder, or baking soda.
You should apply these commonly used products to the stain and let them sit for 15 minutes, then wash the stroller fabric following the label instructions.
-
Chewing gum stains
Who hasn't gotten gum on their clothes? Well, gum can stick to the stroller too. To remove this stain, rub an ice cube on the area and wait three minutes.
When the gum hardens, try removing it with a spatula. Then, wash the garment according to the instructions on the label.
-
Sodium bicarbonate
Baking soda mixed with water is a great ally for removing stains. Mix the baking soda with water and, once you create a smooth paste, apply it to the stain. Your baby's clothes will be spotless and odor-free.
-
Lemon juice
Lemon juice has natural stain-removing properties. To clean and remove stains from baby clothes, you need lemon juice, a natural product that has stain-removing properties that affect your baby's white clothes.
When it comes to removing yellow stains, you'll need to locate the stain and then apply lemon juice. The stain will gradually lighten depending on the intensity of the stain.
