IF YOU LIKED IT, SHARE IT :)
While we've already shared the steps you should follow to clean your baby's car seat , in this post we're going to talk specifically about the smell of vomit and how to eliminate it.
Follow these steps and good luck with the curves on your next family outing.
1. Vacuum the chair
Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any vomit or dirt from the surface of the car seat. Be sure to vacuum all corners and seams of the seat for a thorough cleaning.
2. Eliminate vomited remains
If there are still some solid vomit residues on the chair, remove as much as possible with a paper towel or a disposable cloth. Once you've removed the solids, spray a small amount of clean water on the affected area and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
3. Wash the cover
If your car seat has a washable cover, remove it and hand wash it following the manufacturer's instructions. You can use warm water with a mild detergent and let it air dry in a place away from direct sunlight.
4. Use baking soda
To help absorb and remove the smell of vomit from the car seat, sprinkle baking soda over the surface. Let it sit for several hours before vacuuming up all the baking soda.

5. Disinfect
To ensure the chair is completely clean and bacteria-free, apply a disinfectant solution (such as isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle) to the affected area and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping it dry with a clean cloth.
6. Think about specialized products
If the odor persists after cleaning, consider using a specialized solution to remove odors and eliminate germs. There are many products available on the market dedicated to this type of problem, such as specialized ozonizers or odor neutralizers, which effectively eliminate vomit odors.
